The bachelor thesis describes organic farming in general terms, explains the function of certification organisations and compares the basic criteria. It focuses on the differences in subsidy policy in the compared countries, which are the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. It also seeks to highlight the possibilities and opportunities in the field of organic farming. It also highlights the weaknesses and strengths of the sector. It finally suggests possible further developments in organic farming.

The " Legislation for breeding animals" thesis gives overview of laws and regulations in this area. The respective legislation is included in many acts and regulations of public law, mainly the laws protecting animals from abuse. Some aspects of entrepreneurship and animal trade are included in private law. One part of the thesis covers international agreements and European legislation. Out of secondary European legislation the thesis discusses some regulations relating to the topic. The thesis also contains chapters on legislature concerning animal abuse, veterinary care and animal trade. It states differences in record keeping of farm animals and pet animals. The thesis also deals with animal trade, farming, breeding facilities and animal shelters. The thesis contains a chapter on competencies and the distribution of competencies among the authorities. There is a list of some competencies relating to the topic at every authority, with some authorities there are issues which are rarely addressed in publications (e.g. animal training licence or alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes). The thesis also provides chapters on criminal acts and offences. Changes brought by act No. 114/2020 Sb. which changes the act No. 40/2009 Sb., Criminal Code, as subsequently amended, are described in...

Law legislation of breeding wild animals in captivity Abstract The aim of this diploma is to summarize and analyze the fragmented legislation concerning the breeding of wild animals in captivity, both in terms of national and EU legislation. However, given the limiting length of work, the EU legislation is not interpreted in detail, but outlines the most important sources concerning wild animals and their transposition into national law. The opening part contains an explanation of basic concepts, which this work couldn't do without, including introduction with key laws and the definition of cruelty and killing of animals in the light of the law on the protection of animals against cruelty. The second chapter is devoted to wild animals from the point of view of different legislation in relation to other animal species, especially in the area of capture and killing bans and regulation of some activities with them. It also includes a subchapter on the species protection of wild animals, both general and special, including the species protection of birds, rescue programs and animals raised in human care. Zootherapy experience of primary school pupils

The bachelor thesis deals with zootherapy experience of primary school pupils. Zootherapy, history of zootherapy, types of zootherapy, organisations dealing with zootherapy and information about animal breeding in schools are described in the literature review. Methodology of the thesis deals with questionnaires of primary school teachers and pupils. It was found that most pupils know what zootherapy is and what is her purpose, mainly because of media. Most pupils also said that they would like to know more information about zootherapy. In questionnaires of primary school teachers was found that teachers do not like the idea of involvement of zootherapy in teaching process and animal breeding in schools as well.
